I live in a different city than my learning pod and we all had very different schedules this week, so we did our sharing of ideas through Google Docs. Each of us shared a link to our research papers then waited for the others to give it a read through and add some comments on the ideas and writing style. This format of gathering feedback from peers has worked well for us in the past and we were all comfortable using Google and it’s tools to accomplish this task.
It was really nice to have my pod share their ideas and give suggestions on my paper. I do think that if we were in person it would have led to more of a discussion about the ideas involved rather than suggestions about what was clear and what wasn’t, but with this particular situation, it wasn’t really plausible for us to even be online at the same time.
